The irrigation system is mostly doing fine now, but it took a little getting there. A couple zones still sprayed uneven, and the timer was kinda confusing at first. They did came back once to fix things, which helped, but I still feel like it could be better.

I hired them to do some yard cleanup and trimming, they did a good job. The price felt fair, and the yard looked better than I was expecting when they were done. There was just something about it that made the whole place feel more cleaned up. Didn’t feel like I got overcharged or anything, and I’d definitely call them again.

Maintenance just never seemed to happen on a regular schedule. There were multiple days they were supposed to show up and they just didn’t, if that makes sense.

They couldn't really fix my issue, so I ended up having to book it again. Bit frustrating honestly.

The crew was professional overall and they did a decent job. That said, things felt a little rushed toward the end, and it kind of left me feeling like the finish didn’t get the same attention as the rest of the work. I would’ve appreciated a quick apology or at least an acknowledgment of that.

New Roots Landscaping put in some outdoor lights along our walkway and back patio, and I was way more excited than I expected to be when I saw them on at night. It’s not like stadium lighting or anything, thank goodness, but it makes the whole yard look so much nicer and I may have dramatically stood outside admiring it like it was a movie scene.
The only reason I’m going with 4 stars is because the install got pushed back a day, and I had a brief internal meltdown because I’m apparently very invested in patio lighting now. Communication could’ve been a little clearer, but once they came out, the work was solid and everything is working exactly how it should.

They came back out and fixed the issue really quickly, which I appreciated. I’ve dealt with other companies where you have to keep calling just to get someone to follow up, but these guys handled it without making it a hassle.

I was looking into getting some landscaping done, like cleaning up the yard, maybe adding some plants, fixing up a few rough spots, that kind of thing. But the customer service side was frustrating. It took a while to get a response, and when I finally heard back, the answers were really vague. Like I’d ask about timing, pricing, what they could actually do, or what the next step was, and I still felt like I didn’t really know much more than before. I ended up having to follow up more than once, which got old fast. They might do great work once they’re on the job, but the communication just didn’t give me a lot of confidence.

The estimate was pretty much exactly what I expected in the end. A couple of small add-ons came up along the way, but absolutely nothing wild or surprising. Overall, it was fair, straightforward, and super easy to deal with. I’d definitely say they were right on the money.

I asked if they could make a few custom changes to the landscaping plan because I had a specific look in mind, but it felt like they just kept steering me back to their standard package. I didn’t feel heard at all, which was frustrating. I was hoping for a more personal approach, but it just wasn’t what I expected. I probably wouldn’t use them again.

We had New Roots come by to look at a couple trees and some plants that were clearly struggling, even if I couldn’t quite tell what was wrong. They did some trimming, talked us through watering and soil issues, and picked up on a few things I probably would’ve missed just looking at the yard. A few weeks later, the trees look noticeably healthier and the shrubs are starting to fill back in. They did show up a little later than originally planned for the first visit, which wasn’t ideal, but the work itself was solid and the price felt fair.

The design ended up feeling a bit more basic than I expected, and it didn’t really have the flow or style I had in mind. To be fair, it wasn’t terrible, and I can see some effort went into it, but it just didn’t match what I was looking for.

I thought I had a idea of what price would be, but the quote changed later. It was a bit frustrating, and I really wish they made the prices clearer from the start

I had New Roots Landscaping Houston come out to handle some yard work, the cleanup afterward is what sorta stood out to me the most.
They didn’t leave branches, dirt, or random messes sitting around, and they even blew off the driveway and walkway before they left.

It was just nice not having to go back outside and tidy things up myself. Really happy with how everything turned out.

New Roots Landscaping Houston was one of the sites I spent a little time on, and it was actually easy to get around. The services were explained in a normal, straightforward way, which I appreciated because I didn’t feel like I had to decode a bunch of salesy wording. I also liked the before-and-after vibe of it because it helped me picture what they could probably do with a yard like mine. The only thing I found myself wishing for was some clearer pricing, even just rough ranges, so I could know what ballpark I was in before reaching out.
